You are about to find out…
Set a timer (phone) for 60 minutes and start the countdown. Set your phone to “do not disturb” or “airplane mode.” Find a bible, some paper (or a journal), a pen, and go to a place where you can focus with minimal distraction for 60 minutes. Write down the date, time and place where you are completing this soul workout. (58 minutes remain)
Still and quiet yourself for two minutes before God. Pay attention to your breathing. Slow down and deepen your breathing. (56 minutes remain)
What things were racing through your mind over the last 2 minutes? Clear your head of what is distracting you by writing these things down. Tasks, problems, concerns, people, whatever. Get. It. Out. (54 minutes remain)
Declare that Jesus has authority over any outside voices and all your thoughts that seek to speak to you.
Pray: “Jesus, all authority in heaven and earth has been given to You. In Your name, I command any voice from the world, my own mind, the enemy, people I know or have known from speaking or interfering with this time I have with You.” (53 minutes remain)Ask God to be present with you now.
Pray: “Father, be with me now in a very real way. Jesus, help me feel the intense love You have for me. Spirit, transform me from one degree of glory to another. God, May I become a clear reflection of who You are.” (52 minutes remain)Read Psalm 46 and Matthew 26:36-46. (45 minutes remain)

How mentally exhausted or sharp are you at this moment? Take 30 seconds to tune into your mind and how you are feeling mentally. Jot down a scale of 1-10 and mark your energy level on it. 1 = Exhausted, 10 = Sharp. Write down how this may be affecting you. (33 minutes remain)
Read Philippians 4. Think of 5 things that match Verse 8 and write them down. (28 minutes remain)
How emotionally weak or strong are you at this moment? Take 30 seconds to tune into your emotions and how you are feeling both emotionally and relationally. Jot down a scale of 1-10 and mark your energy level on it. 1 = Weak, 10 = Strong. Write down how this may be affecting you. (26 minutes remain)
Read Romans 12. Text a family member or friend and encouraging note. (21 minutes remain)
How spiritually weak or strong are you at this moment? Take 30 seconds to tune into your spirit and how you are feeling both spiritually. Jot down a scale of 1-10 and mark your energy level on it. 1 = Weak, 10 = Strong. Write down how this may be affecting you. (19 minutes remain)
Read Galatians 5. Pray: “Lord, fill me today with the Holy Spirit and with the fruit that comes with Your Spirit. Work through me so effectively that many will believe in You. Help me not to be put off by opposition, stirring or plots. Give me courage to speak boldly for you. Confirm the message of your grace with miraculous signs and wonders. (15 minutes remain)
Ask Jesus to search your heart and bring up anything that needs to be healed by Him. Pray: “Father God, You know my heart and anxious thoughts better than even I know them. My heart is not a puzzle to You. Would You search below the surface of my life to bring up anything that may be hidden there? Please take me to the root of things? I am open to anything that would lead me to healing.” (8 minutes remain)
Ask Him to communicate with you.
Pray: “Lord, just as Moses was present with You, so I am here with You. Please speak to me. Just as Samuel listened, I’m listening. Just as Habakkuk asked You a question to get resolution, so I ask: what is Your word for me today?” If you are struggling with an emotion or a situation, pray: “Jesus, why does this emotion plague me?” or “Why does this situation prey upon my mind?” (7 minutes remain)Activate Psalm 62:1 and wait in silence for 2 minutes so God can speak to you.
